The latest concept from Berg Hospitality Group in the Houston Heights, Trattoria Sofia will offer authentic, rustic Italian food in an intimate, romantic setting. Located at 911 West 11th Street, which was formerly Presidio, a locally owned eatery that permanently closed in October 2018, the 2,500 sq. ft. space will feature all-new interiors, lighting, furnishings and a charming outdoor patio and bar with extensive landscaping. Named after the Houston-based restaurateur’s firstborn daughter, Benjamin Berg plans to create “Houston’s most whimsical dining room and patio, reminiscent of a lost garden.” Trattoria Sofia is slated to open in summer 2021.
